Cross-Device Health Data Pipeline — Apple Watch → Notion

  • Designed and built an end-to-end automation pipeline: Apple Watch collects health data → iPhone HealthKit → iOS Shortcuts reads and packages it → Mac-hosted script processes and formats it as JSON → Notion database via API
  • Configured iOS Shortcuts to extract structured health records and pass them to a Mac-side processing script without manual intervention at any stage
  • Implemented local JSON file handling on macOS to stage and validate data before outbound API calls
  • Documented the full pipeline architecture and privacy posture; no health data transmitted to any external server
