Overview

This site and its associated tools are personal projects built and maintained by Cary Joice for educational and productivity purposes. This policy describes how data is handled when you use any tool hosted at caryjoice.digital.

The short version: these tools do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Any data they access stays on your own devices or in services you already control.

Apple Watch Notion Sync

This tool reads Apple Health data from your iPhone and writes it to your personal Notion workspace. Here is exactly what it does and does not do:

• Health data (workouts, heart rate, HRV, steps) is read from your device via the iOS Shortcuts app
• Data is written to a Notion database that you create in your own Notion account
• Data is stored locally on your Mac in the project folder as JSON files during processing
• No data is transmitted to any server operated by this project
• No data is shared with any third party
• No analytics, tracking pixels, or cookies are used

This Website

The caryjoice.digital website itself:

• Does not use cookies for tracking purposes
• Does not collect form submissions, email addresses, or user accounts
• May use Google Fonts, which loads fonts from Google's servers and is subject to Google's privacy policy
• Is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may collect basic server access logs per GitHub's privacy policy

Data You Control

Because all data flows directly between your Apple device, your Mac, and your personal Notion account, you are the sole data controller. You can delete any synced data at any time by removing entries from your Notion database or deleting local JSON files from the project folder.
